My Little Girl
My Little GirlGood morning hugs from a sleepy face.
On the couch you take your place.
A relaxing day at home for two.
We're together, whatever we do.
Watching shows and playing toys,
eating together...these are our joys.
You splash in the tub and I suds your head.
I help you get jammies on and ready for bed.
We fit nicely in my chair...
reading books without a care.
You still need my help to go potty and flush.
Also your teeth, I need to brush.
Bedtime is so sweet;
by your bed I take a seat.
Singing songs and praying together,
I wish these moments could last forever.
I love you being my little girl.
