I Give Them All to You
Lord, I cannot bear the burden
of my brothers, sisters, and friends
My heart is breaking and heavy
the problems, they never end
There’s another broken family
the children are split apart
the one has left for fleshy pleasures
and believes it’s of the heart
Others are crying and hurting
for many years it goes on and on
a vicious cycle they go through
it’s never over ... it’s never done
There’s some that have addictions
they can’t seem to break free
the truth is out there before them
but they cannot ever see
Some suffer in their bodies
It’s one sickness and then another
One is always in the courts
with friend, foe, or brother
There are those who have anger
they don’t know how to love
Some have financial woes
debts they can’t get out of
There’s people close to me
that I don’t know how to reach
with salvation, and precious truth
I don’t know how to teach
O Lord, the burden’s heavy
it’s more than I can bear
In Your Word you said
to cast you my every care
My brothers, sisters, and friends
I give them all to you
I trust you to take care of them
You know what to do
