If Tomorrow Never Comes

After the car wreck you are aware that you have died.....

there is no turning back....

where you are now is where you will be forever......and ever.....and ever...............................................................................

just suppose you find yourself at the gate of heaven..............

and you are asked.."why should you be allowed to enter in to heaven?"

what will be your answer?............

how about..."well, I was a pretty good person, and I tried my very best..."

"sorry, that is not enough", you will hear...

how about.."I tried to go to church almost every week and I tried to pray almost every night..."

"sorry", you hear again, and dread rises in your heart.......

"there is only one acceptable answer" you are told...................

what could it be?...........................


then you remember...all the times you made mistakes or was unloving,selfish ...and so on...

you realize that no "good deeds" could erase all that

then you remember something about Jesus dying on the cross.....

it suddenly hits you now.........

you were offered forgiveness......
to be rescued.....saved....

you never really put much thought into it before........
is it too late, you wonder......

you decide to ask.............

The Lamb's book of life is opened.......

will your name be in it.....you squirm.............

silence......................................................................


silence..................................................................

"sorry"......the words cut through your soul............................

your name is not here, go therefore into eternal punishment..........................

Is it too late? ...........
No.
This is a story that did not really happen.
You are not dead, you still have a chance to recieve Jesus as your savior.

Tell him you realize that you can not work your way in to heaven by going to church or trying to be a good person.You realize that you are a sinner along with the rest of us, that you need someone to rescue you, save you.
Humble yourself and admit it, and recieve what Jesus did for you when he took your sins on himself and paid for them. Put your total reliance in him to take you to heaven. Put no reliance on yourself at all......period.

The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you are saved (grace- the free unearned gift of God), through faith (trust in, reliance upon), and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT of God, not of works (good deeds), lest anyone should boast.(brag about their own goodness).

Romans3:23-
all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified (accepted as not guilty) FREELY by his grace through the redemption (full payment made for sin, punishment carried out)that is in Christ Jesus...

When you recieve this to be true, you decide that you want to know Jesus for yourself.

You want him in your life, you want him to be your closest friend, the lover of your soul

You decide to trust him to save your soul

and trust him to make the decisions in your life for you.

You will listen to his voice, you know he loves you , you trust him.........you want to obey him, to be like him.

You know you cant be more like him by tryinig harder,
you realize that his love is what changes you
of no effort of your own.

You decide you want to know this love more and more, to know Him more.

You look for ways to get to know him better, this is where church comes in..
It makes sense now...

you realize that the bible is the greatest treasure on earth....

you make it a priority to study it ....to read his words...

the words of your wonderful awesome God and savior........

eyes off me now....eyes on him alone......

praise his holy precious name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easter will be a joyful glorious time for you as you reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus.

HE IS ALIVE and available to you

Death does not have the last word!
