It's All About Jesus
I felt the call, to reach out to a friend, and
I didn't know what I should do.
Then, I heard a voice, from inside of me
this voice came from God, it is true.
It said that to help this friend who's in need
I should show him the love, of Jesus you see!
I thought to myself, Oh I can do that,
it doesn't seem that hard to me!
So I stepped out in faith, and I walked in love
and soon I began to see.......
That walking in love, is easy to do,
it's all about Jesus, and that's really true!
To forget myself, seemed so hard at first
and always I asked, " What about me?"
But I did it enough, that things turned around,
and my life changed completely!
The message I've learned; it's not about me,
preach not of yourself, but of Jesus you see!
You know we are sent, out as vessels of Light
and we should let Jesus shine through us.
We show others the love of Jesus our Lord
and His glorious light will shine through us!
To walk as He walked, and do what He's done;
we show them His love, and the job will be done.
So I thank you Lord, for helping me so;
for filling my life with your light!
May I put myself last, and put others first;
and may I be pleasing, in your sight! Amen
