A Lesson at Church
by Brenda I had a different kind of experience last night. Different enough to tell everyone about. We ere going to church last night. It was 7:00 PM and it as dark. We came up to the church door. The lights were on and people were in the vestibule and in the church pews. I saw the pastor getting ready to start the service. My husband went to open the door and it wouldn't open. I thought, "What's going on? I want in!" I felt locked out in the darkness and scared. It was bright and cheery in there and it was so dark and cold out where we were. This Only lasted a minute. All those feelings went through my mind in that brief period of time. The doors were overlapped the wrong way, and it was just harder than usual to open them. This little experience Really helped me know how, in the Bible story about the "ten virgins and the lamp oil ," the virgins must feel that came so late that the doors to the wedding feast were locked, and no-one would let them in. I was so glad that God didn't call out, " go away, I never knew you!" And this HAS to be the way the people that will be left behind after the rapture will feel. Its a terrible and very lonely feeling to be locked out from God's house and family. *********************************************************** If this story made you feel unsure, hit your back key and check out these pages. * Q & A * How Do I Pray to Receive Jesus? * How to Be Sure * Good News!
