I'm His Child
Because of Jesus, O God, You are my Dad.
Being your child makes me so glad!
When I pray, Your presence I can feel.
My heart knows that Your love is real.
I’m so excited about what’s in store,
In Heaven, only because my sins Jesus bore.
From Your love I can never part.
Joy is bursting in my heart!
Thank you, thank you, God, for the hope you’ve given me!
And that forever, and ever, your child I will be!
Romans 8:15
And by him we cry “Abba Father.”
The Spirit Himself testifies with our Spirit
that we are God’s children.
Now if we are children, when we are heirs --
heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ
if indeed we share in His sufferings
in order that we may also share in His glory.
